So it is 2 days exactly before I arrive at my first stop, Rabat, in Morocco and I'm very busy with all my last minute preparations. After being kept on tenterhooks waiting for my passport and visa to come back from the Bangladeshi Commission I could finally get it from Manchester today and with getting it, everything seems very much more real!
Having just finished exams at the end of last week it has all been a bit of a whirlwind but I think I am just about getting there. I will be in Morocco until the 15th of June and should be doing quite a bit of domestic travel in Morocco traveling to Fes then to Casablanca. I have been told that train travel is very easy in Morocco so hope that this will be the case!
Fondation Ardi will be my first visit and it will be the start of my study so will be the first taste of independent research. I don't fully know what to expect in Morocco but having heard that everyone is very hospitable I'm looking forward to finding out!
